In our previous post we were having a quick look at the contestants, benchmarks and score calculation for the upcoming ASUS Open Overclocking Cup next October 5th in Moscow. In this post we will be quickly sharing with you the latest details we’ve received from Vlad (Slamms) – our ASUS Russia contact.

October 7, 2013 : Departure Day

  • Check-out, free time, departure

Quite a program if you ask me! This is definitely looking good at this point. We especially appreciate the 1.5h time allocation for returning to the Hotel, showering and getting ready for dinner, which is something that is always more less hard to get from organizers in such live OC events.

AOOC 2013 – Hotel / Accomodation

For the overclockers and the press, ASUS booked rooms in one of Moscow’s big hotels. The Hotel Cosmos. Go check out their website for additional details. From the picture we can tell that we’ll definitely have a nice stay there!

AOOC 2013 – Venue Map

Now this might now be of great interest but still, its always cool to have some behind the scene stuff to share on that kind of events. In our latest update from ASUS, we received this floor map of the Venue. Things are written in Russian (which I’m sure all of you can read fluently as I do) – Still, you should be able to easily identify the central place (yellow rectangle) where Overlockers will be benching and the booths at the back for partners and sponsors of the event.

We are definitely exited and looking forward to this event. Overclocking-TV should be streaming live from the competition floor if the Internet gods are with us. Any requests or questions, feel free to ask in the comments!
