Today we are the 7th january 2010 and it’s the day that Intel has chosen to lauch their new dual cores processors from Core i series.

My dear supplier manage to find me a Core i3 530 in retail box version and I thank him for his speed !
As this new processors works with P55 platorm, I decided to use my Gigabyte P55-UD6 and a dual channel kit of Gskill Ripjaws 2×2GB PC12800 DDR3-1600 CL9.
In the next days I hope receive a new H55 chipset based motherboard to do some tests. I won’t forget to inform you in more details about this motherboard.
This week end is the begining of the review of this processor so, you can follow the evolution of the differents tests on OCTV’s website.
