First details of the EVGA Mini ITX Z77 Motherboard

One of the latest trends in the industry of motherboards and that has been highly exploited thanks to the benefits of low-power processors as the Intel “Ivy Bridge”, is the ever growing interest than manufacturers put each year into the mini-itx from factor. These boards are capable of power for a tiny size and this is exactly what we as overclockers also love to hear and use.

Today we can find a variety of models from different manufacturers, and recently we heard about a board designed by EVGA:  here come the details! details!

The upcoming EVGA’s Z77 Mini ITX

This motherboard comes as expected with the LGA1155 socket and the Z77 chipset. A circuit of 8-phase VRM with International Rectifier PowIRphase driver, two DDR3 DIMM slots supporting up to 32GB, and a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot are also present on this board.

In connectivity options, the board provides the essentials:

  • Two SATA 6Gbps ports and SATA 3.0Gbps
  • a slot to use mSATA SSD as a cache
  • two eSATA 6.0 controlled by a Marvell chip.

On the I/O panel will be a video output HDMI and mini-DP, six USB 3.0 ports (four rear), two eSATA 6.0Gbps ports, 8 +2 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, bluetooth, etc.
