Asus Maximus IV Extreme Z – Computex 2011

A new chipset always introduces to us another mainboard. Even if some vendors are already thinking to the after Z68 chipset, vendors do launch boards and it’s today the turn of Asus to show of at their Press Conference here in Taiwan an update of their Maximus IV Extreme board.

That board has all the same OC features that we were used to know from the Maximus IV Extreme P67 board, in addition to that we can note an new PWM design as well as a different way of managing the I/O of the PCI-E lanes where routes through the CPU or through the Chipset are configured depending of how many VGAs you mount on the sytem.
