Gainward is launching a new online contest with Futuremark in association with Thortech, RunCore SSD and Enermax where you will need your skill and precision in overclocking to win.
The competition is based on Futuremark 3DMark11 Benchmark in the different Entry, Performance and Extreme Preset in the different categories.
Competition will be active from August 29nd (11 am GMT) to September 26th (11 am GMT), and you can submit as many score as you want.
Four competitions in one…
Be the fastest one : As usual, the goal will be to obtain the biggest score on 3DMark 11 Performance Preset and the only limitation is that you need to use a Gainward graphic card, Mono GPU and Mono VGA.
During the time of the competition, Geil will run a Lucky Draw between all the competing scores that are using a GeIL memory kit.
Hit the Phantom : Phantom is the name of a serie of VGA based on the lasted GeForce 5 series GPU, the game here is to reach a score ending with 560, 570 or 580, using Entry or Performance or Extreme preset.
Most important thing in this challenge is that you can use any hardware and brand you want, so virtually anyone can participate.
- Week 1: The Phantom 560
- During this week contestants must hit a 3DMark score ending in the
numbers 560, for example X1560, P5560 and E7560 are all qualifying
scores.- The weekly prizes of one Gainward GeForce® GTX 560 “Phantom” is randomly
drawn among all registered users who submitted a qualifying score.- Week 2: The Phantom 570
- During this week contestants must hit a 3DMark score ending in the
numbers 570, for example X1570, P6570 and E10570 are all qualifying
scores.- The weekly prize of one Gainward GeForce® GTX 570 “Phantom” is randomly
drawn among all registered users who submitted a qualifying score.- Week 3: The Phantom 580
- During this week contestants must hit a 3DMark score ending in the
numbers 580, for example X580, P7580 and E9580 are all qualifying
scores.- The weekly prize of one Gainward GeForce® GTX 580 “Phantom” is randomly
drawn among all registered users who submitted a qualifying score.- Week 4: The Phantom 560
- During this week contestants must hit a 3DMark score ending in the
numbers 560, for example X1560, P5560 and E7560 are all qualifying
scores.- The weekly prizes of one Gainward GeForce® GTX 560 “Phantom” is randomly
drawn among all registered users who submitted a qualifying score.
You will need precision and time to reach each week the target, as you can’t submit a score made in the first week for the third week giveaway etc.
